#379- Tennis Expedition Day 5 PART 1

Okay last post of this series (lying here) and warning it will be extremely long partly because I will first bore you all with my weekly dose of fangirling which I'm sure (as my loyal readers) you're quite accustomed to now so read ahead if you'd rather not be annoyed or read on if you want to sigh at me or amuse yourself.

Alright so I'm not sure if I've fangirled about this before but Song Joong Ki is practically the saviour of melodramas along with Yoo Seung Ho <3 (I deem them to have the best milky skin even better than their female counterparts). So there was that time I talked about Nice Guys and how Better and I would like to say "The Bitch"  or a spin off that in unison, and following that, I mourned the fact that there wasn't a subbed version of his movie A Wolf Boy. BUT it was finally subbed, to be precise it came out on Monday and I watched it today (:

I hope this isn't spoiler worthy and that I won't hype it up but IT'S SO GOOD. Okay so I thought it would be ridiculously tear jerking and I was very skeptical midway through but by the end I did shed a few tears, it's hard not to it's freaking SONG JOONG KI. Alright let me review it, acting was superb especially that of Song Joong Ki, okay I'm not being biased here but he was really good. (Spoiler) I mean he only talked for like 2 minutes in the entire 2hour film yet when he spoke it was so pivotal and it just elevated those few words. OST- I didn't hear much of it probably because it didn't grab my attention. In terms of character development I think it could have been better, I might be a bit picky here but the reason why I didn't ball my eyes out was probably because I didn't empathise with the characters enough. Of course I recognise the time restraints in a movie which is severely limited on time so the impact is very different from my typical drama. All-in-all WATCH IT, if you like korean entertainment or if you're bored.

One more thing before I recount, CN Blue has started to list the dates for their World Tour and sadly Australia is still not confirmed but so far the last confirmed date is early May so I really hope they decide on whether or not they're going downunder because I'm praying that if they do it won't clash with Semester 1 Uni exams which will held from roughly June 14th onwards.

Time to revisit that special day (: oh and just so you know Nole was the eventual champion and being one of his biggest fans I felt so honoured being able to share that moment with him.

Woke up reasonably early, Mum left first to go to family friend's house before going to Ballarat to see the gold mines and to pan for gold leaving Elisa and I to go kill some hours in the city before going to Melbourne Park.
Cbb describing most of these because chances are you've see them from someone else but these are taken in Federation Square which has free wi-fi, I think anything better than McDonalds wi-fi is decent.

Our random scenic walk along the Yarra

This cool pop out 3D image
This tunnel with this really interesting light that you can't capture through a camera
 Matrix
Playschool!
Oh and I should mention that Elisa witness some hectic Ebay bidding (:
Sesame Snow Ice <333 I have to say that I am craving this stuff really badly because no one does it in sesame but it takes so good like actual sesame and it's not overly sweet either. I also like their toppings over ZenQ

Not sure if you can read it but the name itself is a pun, I can explain if you ask
According to the HK style egg waffle expert Elisa, the one I bought was pretty good.
So after satisfying our sweet tooth we went back to our apartment, using a tram that we hoped on (avoiding fares yet again), you know tram stops are everyone in Melbourne so it's so convenient to get around. We went kinda in a rush so we quickly got our stuff before going back to Flinders St using the tram once again and using the $3.50 we saved on transport we made a pitt stop at Coles to stock up on bread our dinner and breakfast. Caught the tennis tram, got off and started to take lots of photos we past winners that we adore. Then I exchanged our email printed tickets for an actual ticket and by doing so we saved $2 each (:

Taking commemorative photos of past winners and there's no prizes for who I picked

We found out that there were freebies at this entrance so off we went and you also get a better shot with RLA

We were spotted by a Channel7 camera guy, did you see us? That's the beauty of having a Serbian flag, you take priority over other patrons. Also did you know that there is a corporate information desk in RLA. We followed Elisa's plan of attack where we went to every place we could to get coupons or freebies that we had yet to possess (that was hard). Paid a visit to the Mount Franklin dome again for their stone therapy, I seriously want to take their chairs with me
My first pic of Hisense Arena
Comparing the press crowds, this was the first match on RLA mixed doubles finals. The match itself took longer than expected for only 2 sets.
Play the game, spot Elisa Guys, she ended up getting their signatures as well as a free tennis ball from a member in Andy Murray's team. I'm sure she felt quite accomplished. Oh yeah did I mention that he had a practice session on RLA before the match. Elisa has the better pics of him because I was minding our stuff however if Nole was there I would have bolted for a prime spot.

Gearing up for an epic mens' finals
 I'm addicted to this atmosphere
So remember how I said that my hands get swollen well this is the before pick and guys we forgot to take and after but Elisa was a witness to how hot I can get when cheering on my man
 Selca
Alright so I wanted to post it all at once but it's late and I have a test tomorrow so I will definitely do the rest next post.
