#365- Bitter's Tennis Expedition Day 2

First of Better, you lied! Jokes I just had a bias for a certain character so I just simply hated the leads and wished ill upon them.......

Anyhow thought I'd ask an open question, below are my wtf moments from the show let me know if you felt the same.
- How the murder of one man took priority in the police station despite the fact that they were still investigating the death of another person. God police these days suck at time management which I can extend to the two curry girls on MKR let's just say that it was karma because I believe in it.
- How the two leads have an alarm at 7pm on their phone to play exactly the same song. I mean who has an alarm for 7pm everyday, it's not like they had an appointment or medication to take and if they wanted to hear the song just play the god damn song itself which for the record, doesn't sound that great. In fact the OST wasn't that great, a bit disappointing considering the drama is decent.
- How two people were shot and they both managed to survive except only one suffered long term brain (?) damage and that just happens to be the third person in the love triangle and not the lead.

Oh and tips for a good melodrama, in order for this genre to be saved and yes I mean saved you need at least one good character/actor to capture the hearts of the audience. Like Song Joong Ki in Nice Guys and Wolf Boy (which I am itching to watch) it was Yoo Seung Ho in I Miss You, so yeah emotionally I was so detached from the two leads. I can't exactly blame the two of you because you did act your respective characters well it's just that you're confined to the melodrama genre which sucks.

Okay Tennis recounting time, gosh I got side-tracked didn't I?

Started the day by going to the Ibis Hotel because my mum wanted to see this seminar but because Maria Sharapova had a practice session at 11, I decided to leave early so that I could make it in time to see her. Bought tickets for tomorrow's night session and on Sunday 20th, and when I got to Melbourne Park, I jumped the queue to the ticket collection booth (hehehe I like getting serviced first ahead or others). Used grounds pass today purely to sight see and of course spot stars (:

Managed to get there a few minutes earlier and Li Na was playing but she didn't stop to sign any autographs, lol probably because Maria was right after her and she knew that they all were waiting for her instead. In fact there wasn't that many people but then again it was still considered early. At the beginning I was like 3 rows from the front, camped in the middle because technically that's the spot where you have the highest chance of getting an autograph as well as the best view. Slowly I weaselled my way to the front row, yup that's right! At the end of her practice session Maria came to my block first and well yeah, I was one of the first people to get her autograph (super duper happy) and plus Maria is so nice. I mean she went up and down the court trying to sign as many as possible, I wish I got my flag and magazine signed as well and if only I had my Sugarpova (sigh). Met up with family friends then who arrived ahead of us and they got her autograph as well.

Sightseeing time + Lunch = Long queues
Shit load of people on weekends, long queues for literally everything including the elusive free caricatures. ANZ had by far the most freebies and by the time we got out of their dome it was time to start camping to see Nole (again). Unfortunately others knew that as well, remember those packed school buses or trains coming back from the city during peak hour yeah will it was just that. There was no space at all, the on court viewing area was obviously packed, as was the viewing ramp and the adjacent courts (with higher seating). Hate to say this but there are some white people who are so bloody rude and just plain bitch bastards. If you can stomach, pushing and shoving against kids (yes kids i.e. <12 yrs old) then you are just plain heartless. Oh yeah it's in these types of situations that I hate being short and don't worry I shall elaborate on this later. So we waited in the blistering heat for an hour, not even exaggerating (my nose ended up being sunburnt by the end of the day), before Nole finished his practice session. I think he wrapped it up early because it was really hot, then came autograph time and that's when it gets really crowded.

Story is, Nole came over to my area and I stuck my giant tennis ball up as high as I could but HE MISSED ME  as in he went to those around me without ever making contact with my ball T_______________________________________________________________T words cannot express how I felt but I'll try, devo (there you go). Nole also threw signed Head tennis ball to those waiting up at the ramp as well as the stands that I mentioned earlier and after the crowd dissipated, I felt like wailing. Gosh, lowest moment of the day which was a tad better because I was so close to him. My mum at that stage was at the back of the crowd (or so I thought), she had managed to find her way to where we were waiting and when I saw her I chucked one my tantrums. She began to grin widely before whipping out a magazine from the bag that she was holding for me and on Nole's page was his signature. Ironic isn't it, my mum who holds little interest in the sport or Nole managed to get something the crazy and enthusiastic fan me couldn't and yeah as I was elated (sigh, roller coaster of emotions).

Went sightseeing again, took more photos and later that day was Federer's practice session but his crowd and fan base is just as big and I got scared about how long it would take to manoeuvre my way to the front so we opted for a lower player and that happened to be Gael Monfils. Didn't get his autograph but he did put on a show for us by dancing, ball tricks and playing games like a true entertainer (: Also at that time was Tomic's supposed practice session but he flaked and kept lots of people waiting (secretly laughing inside because I'm not fond of him)

That's it for Day 2 at Melbourne Park but we did go city afterwards to eat at this place called Taiwanese  Cafe, food was decent and cheap (I like cheap food) except if you do go and eat there I advise you not to eat their pork chops or along those lines because when they cook it they dose it in oil so after a few bites it becomes unpleasant to eat.

Also seeing as it's late photos will be uploaded tomorrow morning
