#375- Tennis Expedition Day 4

Okay this should be a reasonably short post because I didn't do much at Melbourne this day.

Before I begin everyone get off the road tomorrow during 12-2pm if you live in my suburb because guess who's starting to drive D; My only problem is that I checked the weather forecast and it said that there is going to be 100% chance of rain so what happens then? Will my first lesson be while it's raining or would it be postponed in that event?

Okay, enough of that and onto the main topic.
So Mum and I got dropped off at our apartment and we settled in waiting for Elisa to arrive who for the record, was late. We caught free tram to Flinders Street where we bought lunch from Lord of the Flies, I had to study that book in year 8 or 9 so I just had to buy something from there. I opted for this nugget pack whilst Elisa got a burger, prices are okay and so are servings.

This was taken at the Dove Studio but our photo together didn't make it onto their FB album
My lunch which I couldn't really eat until like 3 because Elisa wanted to do lots of activities before lunch. No one keeps me away from my food = .= the forks are pretty cute tho.
View from AusOpen members terrace in Hisense Arena and it was literally only the two of us and the workers who could pretty much sit and do nothing for the whole day for their wage.
Horrible shots thanks to the wind

At MLC tent

At the Medibank tent and yeah guess where I measure up?
Watched the last set of the Junior Boys Doubles Final, that there is the trophy which we saw during the match except it was hanging out of a box
Minimal set up for the ceremony
That there is the press for the match, the guy on the far left is a coach or something

So it was my fourth time going to Melbourne park and the caricaturists were closed for this year ): We also camped to see Federer and Murray's practice session like almost everyone else who came that day (though it was extremely empty). The crowds however weren't as bad as the previous weekend, Federer showed up roughly 10min late and only played for 20ish minutes before going. All in all, I was too pleased, one because I was too short so I barely caught a glimpse of him, two he only played on side of the court, further hampering my vision, three no autographs. Nonetheless that was heaps better than Murray who pulled a Tomic by not even showing up at all.

We decided to stay to watch the semis on the screen in Garden Square, although it got cold really fast. After the first set Elisa reluctantly left with me to go to the Game, Set, Match lounge for members. It's basically a room with a bar, restaurant, lots of lounges and tv's and the best thing is that it is sheltered from the wind and the cold Melbourne night. The only problem was that we were all kicked out after the second set because they were closing, wasn't too bad because Federer won that set so it gave us something to cheer about. Since I'm a devoted Djokovic fan, I wanted long gruelling sets so a 4 setter was a good start.

Then we kinda went around in circles, inside RLA for food and coffee for me, then back outside to Garden Square to brave the cold once again. It was so frustrating to see Murray serve well especially since we kept on asking him for a double fault which he didn't produce for the entirety of the match but it was 5 sets so I got what I asked for.
