#373- Crying nuts right about now

Hello,

My title is kinda a spin off this korean indie band called 'Crying Nut', who I only heard of this week only because they had filed a lawsuit against my beloved CN BLUE.

Put simply, story is, CN Blue debuted in 2010 they were still rookies then so they had to follow whatever producers told them. So they appeared on a music show called Mnet and they were asked to basically perform another band's music which was pre-recorded the works, i.e. please lip sync for us. The next year that performance was included as a part of their dvd that was later sold in Japan and maybe Korea (not 100% sure about this) and only now have this come to headlines.

Personal opinion here but I am being objective, but Mnet has already come out to apologise because even they admit that it was largely their fault especially since neither CN Blue nor their agency were aware of their inclusion in the Dvd line up or its distribution. However 'Crying nut' has asked for Mnet to quite literally 'butt on' and even after CN Blue apologised they are still crying foul (sorry totes did not     want to mock their name). Now whilst I understand their reasons behind launching their law suit, what bothers me the most is that it came about at a rather convenient time with their new album on the way after a supposed 3 years hiatus. Oh and did I mention that I like many others did not even know of this band until now and also why the wait, sure you explained by saying that you first sought to seek compensation from "a large company" behind the Dvd production and distribution. To be honest a part of me would want to accept their reasoning but the sceptic in me also thinks that it is a marketing ploy especially since they're riding on CN Blue's surging popularity which was not at evident when they were still a rookie band without the funds that they possess now.

But if you want to believe otherwise then side with this comment that I found on Allkpop, I did find it rather amusing.

"You can't expect these 12 yr old fan girls who will defend their oppas to the ends of the earth to make sound and reasonable judgments concerning the matter. Most probably have ADD and couldn't make it past the first paragraph without wiping the drool off their chin and switching tabs to check their tumblr."

Well all I can say is 12 years old really? but I do plead guilty to the next part because I most definitely will defend my oppas to the ends of the earth but I think my judgment isn't in question... yet. As for the tumblr bit, hello I'm blogging so I guess you can scratch that.

PS also guys stay tuned because we I'll be recounting the final days of AusOpen with Elisa
