#422 - AON

On Friday I had a nice catch up with Bitter & R over food adventures :) A bit of a random and spontaneous encounter for R, but it was lovely.

Yesterday Stephy and I went to Astronomy Open Night  at MQ. Despite the fact that science and me just aren't meant to be, I'm pretty interested in astronomy - it's so mysterious and there's still so much we don't know, and we are really insignificant. It was good and there were far more people there than I expected. I saw quantum levitation at work, some NASA (?) astronauts, adored the planetarium and recognised Geoff from the observatory (best place to do work experience ever:D). Then the ticket gates were open at Strathfield and so we ended up running out to do a late night run for Yogurberry. Argh I know,  it was quite cold and late and overpriced but we still went and bought some on impulse to satisfy Steph's wish. I'm in love with the popping balls hehe.

This is a bit random but I blogwalked one day and landed on a blog written by a girl who's a few years older than me, a stranger because I've never met her even though I coincidentally found out she is a friend(?) of a friend. I've been reading her blog for months now and I'm absurdly envious that she has such a natural flair for writing. Even though her blog chronicles her daily life, she writes so well about both the complex and simple issues in life. Heck, she even makes the mundane stuff sound good. My blogging pales in comparison to hers. I finally left an anonymous comment after she wrote a meaningful post and I'm glad to have made her day, because reading her blog always made me feel like I could further improve myself, reflect on some problems and situations, be a better person. I'm not sure why I just wrote all of this but...I hope that maybe someday, I can also reach out to a random stranger. Hmmm.
