I'm lost, well not literally but sometimes I feel like so. Uni has interesting met some new people, bumped into people that I know especially ahem Allan who I somehow seem to see like every time I go on campus. I can see what they mean by how Usyd is the 'white' high school and since all my friends are going to UNSW it has to be the immigrant uni. On Tuesday this week I had lunch with my UTS friend who I shall refer to now as The Composer and afterwards he gave me a tour around his campus and gosh it is so convenient. It's so close to Central once you can navigate your way around the tunnel and there are so many walkways that connect the building together near the ugly tower that we all recognise. Except... they do have buildings all over Haymarket like the business or law building that I found accidentally when I was walking through Paddys. In terms of the students there's a better mix in terms of nationalities but there are more white students. As for me, I swear every second Chinese commerce student is an international student and in law it's pretty much Chinese and white.
I joined my first society this week- TeaSoc was quite fun and we got cake (: Vitasoy Drinker and I talked to a 2nd year and two 3rd years and it actually quite interesting chatting about lots of random topics. I need to join other stuff like Tennis except I suck as a player so if they let me be some organiser or whatever I'd sign up instantly just excuse me from training please.
Also am I the only one who is starting to dislike breaks, I mean there's only so much that you can do and sometimes you can't really get much done in 1hr. Remember study periods in the SSR and how productive that was and then add all the distractions that are on campus. Also 365 friend do you want to try to have lunch in Newton some time if possible?
Yeah as you can see this post is very jumbled, sorry again and quick update I am finally cashing in my groupon so high tea on sunday (:
