#268 - Hypocrisy at its finest

re: cosmetics.
I've taken some interest over the year or so in it. But I would like to make it clear that I am still the same person. And I get super pissed when people assume I am wearing it to to impress guys. I would just like to say that there is no one to impress (hard to believe because I fangirl like mad, yes? It's your choice if you want to believe me or not - idgaf if you don't believe me). I just want to feel better about myself occasionally. Alright? People and not just me, wear it so we can feel better about our appearance. And because it's fun to put on (case in point, R last Sunday). But from the way people have been carrying on about it, it's like I've become some vain bitch who's fully caked on every day. "Oh my god I don't get the point of everyone slabbing stuff on their face" or (on photo day) "ohmigod all the year eleven girls were putting on so much make up in the bathroom, they're so vain! Like who are they trying to impress anyway?" Oh puh-lease. Get over it.

Just stop it. If people haven't gone overboard and look like Nicki Minaj or Snooki - anyone who is really caked, you have no right to be critical. Just because you may not wear it, don't go on a rampage bitching about people wearing it. Sure they could look different, but they're still the same people. Conversely, if you wear it and you see someone who normally doesn't wear it has it on - you don't go around asking: "oooh who are you out to impress?" Oh, the irony.  Bloody hypocrisy at its finest - especially if you've worn it for the very reason you're criticising another for.

So what can you conclude from this? Girls are judgmental, all bitchy to one another and generally have self esteem issues. And of course, are hypocritical.
