A Bittersweet Day~: #498 - Next stop, happiness

Oh life, I love how you are full of surprises that can elevate us to an instant high. This is the best of what you can offer us.
I feel like I've had such a wonderful week Remember how I was kinda down in the dumps (ah yes, the norm every now and then) just in my last post? No longer am I down in the dumps.
Someone gave me a chance. A great person. Steady work every week, I'm a tad anxious about how I will handle everything once uni starts but. it. will. all. work out. (: And do I feel guilty for the nepotism? Nope. It's a unavoidable fact of life and I'm accepting that I may also have to rely on this method someday in the near future. But I want to be worthy of whatever position I attain and do my best.
I resigned. Wrote "The Letter" which was signed, sealed and delivered. I'm heaving a big sigh of relief that I will never have to go back even though I gained so many relevant work skills. Everyone has to start from somewhere and that's where I started off. Not going to say anymore but hooray!
Investing in an office wardrobe: never thought the day would come so early but damn is it expensive. Have picked up a few more items and now I'm pleased to say that I will no longer be wearing my go-to mooting dress, which was previously my one and only professional outfit borrowed from mumma (:
Went to work for the first job twice; good hands-on practical experience on what it's really like in the real world. Can't wait to start the second one!
Colour Run 2014: an absolutely awesome sauce experience and a wonderful catch up with most of the high school girls.
Road trip. Going on one in just three days. One thing I will be able to tick off on my bucket list. Can I just squeal with happiness especially since I thought I wasn't going for ages and everyone was going?!!! And a zillion thanks to Juju for convincing me as always :D
And more catch ups with my dear ones.
