and new people. i feel a bit iffy and vague dislike(?) for some of them, because their auras radiate snobbishness and up-themselves-attitude =s
anyhow the aust open ended! li na :( :( but djokovic won! now there won't be a sad part 5 (:

#41 - rambling thoughts

its currently 2-5 in the last set of aus open [female] with new balls and i think i've lost all hope of a chinese grand slam winner- i is sad ): tho i hope this post may inspire her to win, i doubt it tho. oh and yes before i forgot to mention this, djokovic must win tomorrow or else im gna be dead on monday morning = i is sad ): part 5

#39 I is sad ): part 4 + Australia day

okay its quite depressing that i have already dedicated 4 posts to me being a sad kid when in should be looking on the bright side [yeah right] anyhow reasons for me being sad are:

-  there are now apparently two 'reptitles' at my house both of similar size which is quite scary as i originally mistook the one i saw the other day for the one that roamed my house 2 years ago and ever since has made some brief appearances. so now i am quite hesitant to go to my backyard ><
- okay so sometimes i get stuff off the internet and i was really looking forward to getting this jacket because it was uber cool and well yeah i really wanted it but for various reasons it is not in my posession T^T
- oh and if you watched the tennis then you would've known that nadal lost yesterday so i really hope djokovic wins because he was my pick for the tournament and i dont really like murray or ferrer so yeah...
- oh i have just realised that its impossible for me to wake up in time for school ~sigh

now onto australia day and this is turning out to be quite a long post so ill leave everyone with some happy snaps i took in the blue mountains. first off i hate summer it was so hot and well thats it! i've been to the blue mountains way too much so its really boring now. i saw the gnome convention thingo at glenbrook and some of the gnomes were quite cute but after today i shall refrain from using that word [ for those of you who understand the reason behind this decision]

#38 - outing

okay i am officially sick of watching movies. and do you know what is so stupid? it's not $9 to watch a movie at greater union on tuesday anymore, it's $11 :@
so i met up with felix at the station, and howie jenny caleb at parra and walked around for like one and half hour then went to lidcombe to have kbbq. it was dodgy so we went back to parra -___- but then we got shouted kernel popcorn from felix for dragging us to lidcombe :D and then we went to watch the fighter, which really isn't my taste of a movie since you see guys boxing the shit out of each other and blood comes out and then you hear the hits on the body, ugh >< got used to it in the end though. the movie was different from other movies in a good way.. and it was good(i think i said this about every movie i watched these hols, lol) but really, the fighter was good- no wonder it had an 8.3 or 8.6 out of 10 rating~ and now i feel like looking at school stuff now since i've done absolutely nothing these hols... why is school less than a week away :(

#37- My encounter with....

a reptile???? yeah im not exactly the best at naming species so lets just be very general. okay so basically i woke up today just before 11 which is kinda bad because i have to go to school in less than a week now meaning i have to wake up around 5 hours earlier. back to the story.... i looked outside the window only to see .... ----> THIS ><

it was a little bit confronting as i was still sleepy at the time so i was just staring at it and it stared back at me, then it just got awkward so i ran to get my phone to take this pic so to prove that i wasnt daydreaming [yes i know my phone is awesome (:] 

anyhow im watching nadal atm and OMG GUESS WHAT i found the umpire i was looking for .... okay only one person will get this reference but yeah. steve ulrich is this american tennis chair umpire and he has this amazing voice i mean its deep but somehow intriguing... okay this is getting awkward so ill just stop now. btw djokovic ftw =D

#36 - yesterday

finally i'm 16! hbd to myself C:
spent all day eating like a pig - hungry jacks and all you can eat buffet - 5 whole plates -groans- and cake.. now that is what you call true pigging out style.
exploring islands from circular quay ferry port was ... okay, but honestly, the islands were sorta boring, but then the ferry trips + views+ scenery = amazing. i got sunburnt on my face TT_TT and my hair has reached the annoying awkward stage, but i just cbb to cut it, so looks like i'll have to grow it out.. til april or so. and then cut it awesomely :D

bitter: ty ♥ lool that is a bit too many "sweets" and yay for good terms w/rents again! btw, rafa will WIN! >:D

#35- Sweet 16

Okay this might be a bit late but I hope you had a very joyous sweet 16 today sweet (: [i think im saying sweet too much so i shall swap it with another word... or not] . Good news! surprisingly i did not get the new msn which i had previously dreaded and im on better terms with parents so i can go bwood [yay]

tomorrow marks the second week of the australian open, although everyone believes that either federer or nadal would win but for some reason or another i go for djokovic; i mean he's one cool guy. as for the women's side i dont really have an opinion although the match with schiavone and kusnetsova was crazy (in a good way).

#34 - you know...

your dad is a tennis fanatic when the match doesn't go the way he wants and he does any of the things listed below:
- criticize; "oh my god! why did she go to the net when she has so much space to move?!"
- swear
- bash the table and groan in agony
- act like he is the tennis coach
- make fun of the enemy player's speech at the end
- his voice drips with sarcasm
- vents his anger and disappointment for really random things on his kid after the match
- and etc. yeah you get my drift. my dad fulfils all the criteria >.>
i feel sad sam lost :'( but now i get to see rafa and his wedgies, muahaha ;D

#33- I is sad ): part 3

so due to a series of misfortunate events i have been depressed lately
- computer dying not literally but well yeah... shall finally get it fixed hopefully tomorrow
- for some strange reason or another i somehow seemed to have installed windows messenger 2011 on my computer whilst i was away
- there has also been several strange noises at batter's house which kept me awake for quite a while
- my parents are incredibly pissed at me for various reasons = no hope of going to show lo concert and living a miserable life

oh and sweet i think i wont be able to go bwood T^T sorry wendy i know we were both looking forward to it.
on another note i might not be able to blog for a while if i cant get my computer fixed cos it wont be connected to the internet- sad face

#32 - laughter is the best medicine

happy 50th to my beloved aunty Fiona!! (L)
went to a chinese restaurant for her party-soo typical for azn birthdays but it was awesome. heard really funny stories all night like "a liking for eating chicken butt" - /cough cough, angs and discovered my mum has a really funny laugh that makes other people want to laugh because she's laughing :D oh and the whole restaurant must have thought our table was extremely weird since we literally rolled off the chairs laughing loud ^^ i laughed so hard that my stomach was in agony for a while but it was all worth it. today was definitely one of my better days. laughing made some of my bad memories that happened in the hols disappear into oblivion. a late new year resolution: laugh more

#31- Unexpected

it was so unexpected to find such an awesome friend like joanna :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

so innocents beware when talking to shirleys friend?...joanna =D
shirley is a pretty awesome friend apart from hitting me, insulting me and being mean to me in general 87% of the time =D

oohh today when bitter^^ was in the car with better whilst batter was at home playing band hero (: we saw  butter (you know who you are =D) it was quite the coincidence and was extremely unexpected which proves how small this world is. oh and also who would've thought that roger federer would have to play 5 sets so early into the tournament

#30 - :(

jailbreak failed once i turned the touch off :( and my brain cells just turned into angry little squiggles as i restored the touch for the millionth time, wondering what was wrong. but i finally know why - there is an untethered jailbreak for mac, but NOT windows == aaarghhh -goes into dying of impatience mode-

#29- I is sad ): part 2

school is about to start once again and that only means the looming prospect of yr11 will begin, no more junior uniforms which means that i wont be mistaken for a year 7 anymore but it also means that we can no longer maintain our carefree attitude towards school anymore. lately my parents are always mentioning how the hsc is in less than 2 years and how im going to fail because i'm always on the computer = no studying what so ever. but we are all about to begin our last two years of formal education and soon we will have to leave this place that we have grown acustomed to [otherwise known as school]. it is the place where we come to learn but more importantly socialise, its the place that holds many fond memories spent with friends. so i hope everyone will cherish their remaining time left at school as it will pass by quickly as we become distracted by exams and assessments.

#28 - unstoppable

i saw too many movies these hols! like 5?! ... and yet i'm going to see another movie again next week >_> so today i watched unstoppable - that movie about that unmanned train and it was just UNSTOPPABLE drama for 2 hours, started by some fat guy who couldn't run, lol. and for the first time in my life i went into the gold class cinema because the normal one was booked out. it was $25 =.= the only good thing about it was that it had reclining chairs and a big table with fancy tissues. and it was super weird that there were actually people who paid to be in gold class =o especially as it was cheap tuesday or something. anyhows, unstoppable was a good film (y) but not one you would really pay to watch in gold class (MAJORWASTEOFMONEY)

#27 - I is sad ):

my phone charm for the past year finally died [the one with the dice] T^T. it was quite sudden actually because i went to get a ticket for those car parks and then i randomly just saw one of my dice on the floor = sudden realisation ~sigh

oh remember how back in primary school everyone loved rainbows , so i was bored and decided to make some rainbow cupcakes and cake with the remainder. bon appetit~ oh the first pic was something i made a while ago like mid december

#26 - jailbreaking

i've spent all day trying to jailbreak my touch and it is killing me - i've reset and restored the damned device over 10 times! >:( finally after 4 hours, i've successfully jailbroken the device *runs around and screams in joy* oh the things people would do to get free stuff... >.>

#25 - Shopping version 2

went manly today [yay] but it was raining T___T but eventually the rain did clear but by then it was really humid - i hope you're happy joanna = =''
anyhow my shopping experience wasnt as exciting as sweet's journey to merrylands, i saw some tourists they were mainly korean and chinese so i understood most of what they said some of which wasnt pleasant so i shall not mention it anymore.
i went to a cafe which i shall go to again because the food there is amazing and theres this ice cream store called movenpick [its swiss] which just opened so i shall try their ice cream one day because the store looked expensive and i got freaked out. anyhow if you are stuck looking for a place to eat at manly i highly reccomend the deli opposite manly village primary school or the cafe next to/ near it =D

#24 - shopping

went shopping today- cheap clothes ftw! and saw a catfight, thought it was almost fully one sided and ended up in a girl getting dragged out by security. soooo scary >___< she was a full on bitch to the shop assistant (pulled her hair, kicked and swore at her) and knocked over heaps of shoes. the whole level watched her get dragged out and she was still swearing and shouting that she was the victim, even though she looked like she could kill someone O.O and that was the only thing that ruined a nice shopping adventure >:(

#23- Autumn's Concerto

for the past week i have immersed myself into the world of dramas once again. i rewatched autumn's concerto and hi my sweetheart <3 but is it just me or do both dramas seem alike; they both are very cliche- amnesia plotline, rich guy & poor girl, parent's disapproval, etc etc but they're both good dramas which you should watch. also does the main girl in autumn's concerto look like angela zhang????

#22 - something you didn't know

i'm turning into a skeptic.
i don't believe in things you can't prove exist.
and i can thank bad astronomy for leading me to skepticism :)

#21- A rant on nothing

due to a storm last week i've been deprived of internet on my main computer due to a stupid short circuit so lately i've gotten to bond with my laptop again [not school one] , oh and im also capped ~fml  this is gonna sound weird but i miss school i.e. seeing everyone and etc etc oh but i dont miss the work if i did that'd just make me completely and utterly mental -sigh

my take on tangled: at first i was reluctant to watch it as i've already watched little fockers and harry potter 7 but it was a pretty good movie as a whole except for the end of the movie which is a bit far-fetched unless you are the targeted audience i.e. young kiddies who dont know any better.so if you are feeling bored for the remainder of the holidays go and watch it and be sure to drag along lots of people so you dont feel out of place

#20 - tangled

I have nothing much to write about so I'm just going to write a film review. time to use my critic skills =p
Review:
Nice animation, especially the part where all the lanterns rose up the sky - all the lanterns looked like bokeh <3 to the max
Film music = very Hans Zimmer like at dramatic times and expected duets coming from Disney... plus some sort of corny songs, only downer for me >:( but majority of it was amazing, nevertheless. n2s- must dl ost
Plot: good modernised twist on an old fairytale, and it made sense, unlike the plot in the tourist <- way too much of a coincidence
what the film gives you: hope, feel good feelings, laughs, inspiration to never give up on your dreams and the consolation that evil will never defeat goodness :))
Fav cute worthy thing from the other people watching today: a little girl started crying and hugging her mum when Flynn got stabbed.. :D (yes don't think I'm weird)
Trailer: awesome. especially when the great escape played :D now that is one very decent song
Overall rating: 9/10
everyone who hasn't watched it yet, run to your nearest cinema asap to watch it! you won't regret it.

random thing I saw today: a "don't huddle together" ad at Burwood station, commuters were drawn as penguins 0.o and you can guess who authorized this really weird ad -___-

#19- A turn for the worst

just when i had committed myself to finally exercising this holiday the weather suddenly goes from scorching heat to torrential rain- sigh could this possibly be a sign from above telling me not to exercise o.O
oh and if you guys didnt know my dad recently acquired an abcircle pro so i shall be using that until the weather clears up again and if you dont know what this handy contraption is then google it (:

#18 - fear

Today I discovered that I have a new fear. A fear of dentists :(
I had to go to one today to fix my teeth and honestly, that was my worst experience ever, even worse than the time when one tooth had to be pulled out ages ago. So today the dentist went and used objects with a razor sharp thin blade and poked that into my poor suffering teeth, and then he used a horrible mechanical drill, and drilled it and it hurt soooo much :((( And the worst thing was that I could actually see the tools he was using. And all this lasted for a very pain filled hour... I'm never going to a dentist ever again.

@bitter: did you get one from there and it ended looking terrible? LOL poor you^^ btw is that the place opposite tree of life? and nope not yet... even though I'm absolutely dying to. haircuts are too expensive these days (30 last time and look how fast it's grown T.T) take me to your cheap cabra one sometime soon! we can have viet food as well :D

#17- Horrible Hairdresser

okay so most of us have been to a few dodgey hairdressers. so an advice to all DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES VISIT CORTEX HAIR IN PARRA WESTFIELD, this seemingly pleasant place is filled with unfriendly staff who offer little to no expertise and skill at hairdressing- why this is their profession is beyond disbelief. being a ex-commerce student now T^T we should all know how powerful word-of-mouth is so everyone please spread the word =D as i do not want any of you to suffer the cruel and horrible experience of having a ghastly haircut.

#16 - 2011

Happy new year everyone!! :)
I watched the 9.00 fireworks at Darling Harbour and they were pretty awesome; they had gold ones that shimmered and floated in some sort of spiral? The 12 o'clock was really boring but maybe that's because I watched it on TV :P
I'm thinking of making new year resolutions but in the past I've never remembered to keep them so I don't think I'll make resolutions. I'll just stick to goals I'd like to achieve - ie. being happy, enjoying life more, not get into fights with parents too much, getting decent school reports and not procrastinate as much as I'd like to and the really important one- saving up more money! That's probably my worst issue right now, too much money goes out of my pocket and not a lot comes in. That means I have to make a budget now, so barely any indulgences for me and lots of sacrifices have to be made>:( I hate all you rich kids who don't have to worry about money grrrrr
Anyway that's my post for the day, hope you guys are all enjoying the new year (and decade)

#15- A year in review

I'm sure we can all look back onto 2010 with many fond memories; making new friends, new experiences and for me end of year term reviews <3333

2011 will be a year to start afresh with a list of new goals so my New Year resolutions are to:

-        - Get fit

-        - GO TO SHOW LO CONCERT with wendy ~ although im not quite sure if I’ll be able to achieve this so everyone has to help me with my master plan

-       -  90% + in all exams!

-        - Continue being the cool kid that I am and DON’T GET FACEBOOK

-        - GROW TALLER ~ although I dunno if it’s possible anymore T^T
