#423- Permeate free

Okay wasn't sure when I was going to write up this post but because today it is Nole's 26 birthday I had to write up something. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BELOVED DJOKOVIC aka MY MAN <333333 I think I have expressed my love for you on numerous occasions. I am so proud to be your fan and omgosh seeing you in person was one crazy experience that I shall never forget. Keep on doing what you do best and win Roland Garros, I shall be cheering you on hopefully live if not there is always Roland Garros radio but if my schedule permits me I will stay up so do me proud and dw I will happily fend off my friends who are Roger Federer fans.

Right so unto the actual post, many of you know that I'm not the biggest drinker of milk, in fact I only drink milk when it's in coffee or in smoothies because if you don't add milk then what do you add (I know apple juice is a substitute but let's not go there). I was so dumbfounded when I walked into the supermarket a few days ago because the milk aisle has become so complicated now and what the heck does permeate free mean? Being the noob that I am, I just grabbed the Dairy Farmers 2L milk (needed for baking) that happened to be permeate free (because I didn't know any better). For the record it tastes like water down milk which is only milk in appearance so yeah I'm going to start my own revolt and create my own placards saying something along the lines of bring back normal milk. In other words, I'm just like the guy in the Paul's milk ad who just wants milk that tastes like real milk and Paul's milk actually tastes quite good if you're considering the switch.

Anyways that's its from me but did you know that from this week, I have an assignment due every Friday for the next 4 weeks yeah I'm kinda screwed for Law

#422 - AON

On Friday I had a nice catch up with Bitter & R over food adventures :) A bit of a random and spontaneous encounter for R, but it was lovely.

Yesterday Stephy and I went to Astronomy Open Night  at MQ. Despite the fact that science and me just aren't meant to be, I'm pretty interested in astronomy - it's so mysterious and there's still so much we don't know, and we are really insignificant. It was good and there were far more people there than I expected. I saw quantum levitation at work, some NASA (?) astronauts, adored the planetarium and recognised Geoff from the observatory (best place to do work experience ever:D). Then the ticket gates were open at Strathfield and so we ended up running out to do a late night run for Yogurberry. Argh I know,  it was quite cold and late and overpriced but we still went and bought some on impulse to satisfy Steph's wish. I'm in love with the popping balls hehe.

This is a bit random but I blogwalked one day and landed on a blog written by a girl who's a few years older than me, a stranger because I've never met her even though I coincidentally found out she is a friend(?) of a friend. I've been reading her blog for months now and I'm absurdly envious that she has such a natural flair for writing. Even though her blog chronicles her daily life, she writes so well about both the complex and simple issues in life. Heck, she even makes the mundane stuff sound good. My blogging pales in comparison to hers. I finally left an anonymous comment after she wrote a meaningful post and I'm glad to have made her day, because reading her blog always made me feel like I could further improve myself, reflect on some problems and situations, be a better person. I'm not sure why I just wrote all of this but...I hope that maybe someday, I can also reach out to a random stranger. Hmmm.

#421- Impending Hiatus

Hello all, the title is supposed to forewarn you all about how I shall post sporadically in the near future so sorry in advance. In other news I updated my other blog, click here

I feel so unproductive. Spent last night/early morning doing online stats homework (remember how I said that stats would be the end of me, I wasn't lying) and then today I had a rendezvous with an Ebayer who I bought baubles off <-- they're needed for my invites and a big shout out to Vanessa who gifted me with a generous supply of velcro so come end of June/early July I need lots of help from those who own sewing machines. After that, I was off to Chatswood to finally get a hair cut, it's a bob now which means I will look rather awkward when I'm in an exam going through my ritual (yeah I'm superstitious).

Finally, catch up with Sweet and Robbie omgosh it has been so long since I've seen you guys. So it was lunch at Pepper Lunch then I took to them to my caffeine retreat in the city aka Tom n Toms which I dub the Korean version of Starbucks and guess what 365 friend they had sweet potato latte and it was actually quite nice so to whoever told me off for combining sweet potato and a latte, there you go.

Also I'm not if this was some scam but nonetheless I got a text today asking me to help volunteer for the Red Shield Appeal, but sadly I'm screwed if I give up Sunday so please schedule it next year on a day that I can compromise

#420 - Lack

Okay this is going to be a random post that's all over the place.

> My life is like a routine that I'm super familiar with now. Things are going relatively well~ can't wait for Friday ;D
> L department: I swear that they have financial woes but yet the society keeps making social events every fortnight or so?! Which I just cannot be bothered to attend ...
> I need to be more frugal and start budgeting ASAP.
> I finally decided to accept my job offer (since the other place didn't contact me) but the website is down....nooooooo.
> Though there are more women involved in Australian politics, they're definitely not given the respect that their male counterparts had. No former male PM (despite his scumbag policies) was ever subjected to people throwing shoes, sandwiches and the like at him. This unacceptable behaviour and mindset is so rampant that the Ernies Awards is still going strong after 20 years. Double standards should not be implemented. If women have to be subjected to such poor behaviour, it's only fair that men should also receive the same treatment. Not trying to promote misandry here; I think it's just a matter of decency. That's my $0.02.

#419- Update

Today's Google theme is so cute (: and yay for momentary break so I can take it easy for the next two weeks I wonder when Butter will be holding the next sleepover?

Don't feel like ranting, just thought I'd reiterate my distaste for statistics (it practically took away half of my Sunday). I also wish Australia's Target could measure to the one in the US, you should visit their website. For one, the stuff they sell is so much better and cheaper. There's this product that Better and I have been eyeing for a while or more precisely her sister. Remember that time I was talking about EOS lip balms... well they release a limited edition Alice in Wonderland pack. Do you see the giant $7.99 sign, mind you I'm crying inside because if you go on Ebay it costs like $30+ and that's not even including shipping from the US. Although, I have too many lip balms at home so don't get me any otherwise I will have to re-gift them.

On another note, I'm going to get my hair cut this Friday at Chatswood so adieu long hair- you are too high maintenance especially in Winter. Anyone up for a lunch?
Not sure about how short....

#418 - Mum's the word

Happy Mother's Day to my lovely mum and other mums!

Good news: I received a job offer after attending my interview. But I don't know if I should accept it or not, I feel slightly apprehensive about starting work immediately... will try for out for another job and see how things go from there.

#417- Wednesday Madness

8/05/13

FYI I'm so happy that I go USYD instead of UNSW because when it comes to enrolling or timetabling we have the option of seeing someone so I can physically change it without the hassle of a stupid server, mind you ours is just as bad and I may have to eat my own words in the near future when it's time for me to do my timetabling but hopefully I can just harass the timetable guys from business so I can get what I want (not even sure if this was meant to be an attempt at sentence ....)

Also, drivers are horrendous these days, I almost got ran over twice in the space of 30 seconds from full license drivers and their ignorance of pedestrians and their failure to indicate. Gosh, I'm ending my driving hiatus so I'm back on the road on Tuesday, watch out guys and please do not be in vicinity as I am a serious safety hazard

Finally, open invite for lunch on Thursday! Youtube Sensation and I are having a food outing so come if you're free we start at 12-ish in Newton so let me know if you're interested.
