#415- Oh the Irony
Procrastinating at the moment by looking at restaurants :P but this time with a purpose. I may have mentioned this to a few of you, but I kind of want to hold one leg of my 18th at Bavarian Bier Cafe except some of you may deem it as pub grub whereas food website say it falls under the umbrella of European and German. Let me know what you think and whether or not you'll be okay dining there otherwise I'll rethink my plan and also should I bother doing invites, I know that a lot of us did for our 16th and then afterwards we were like mehhh and just simply followed the fad that is a facebook event. Should I conform because I doubt I have the time and energy to bring my ideal invite into fruition? So if you love arts and craft or if you have lots of time at the end of June/early July please help otherwise there will be a limited number of invites and only those who can attend or RSVP early can get one.
Update:
I cut my finger so now I'm going to be impaired while I try to get another solid 200 words done for my case study

#414 -忙
So as Bitter pointed out, the service provided by Cityrail was quite abysmal today - there were heavy delays in both the morning and arvo. I didn't understand why there were plenty of trains going to Cabramatta / Liverpool and all stops after, but close to none between Granville and Warwick Farm? :\ Had to wait a good long hour or more - during that time, I was so bored stiff waiting for a direct train to come I just started writing notes. Now that was pretty productive and it stopped me from too crabby haha. The more I do when I travel means I get to do less at home and have more time to procrastinate (oh, the paradox).
I can't wait till Wednesday evening is over because I will be practically super relaxed and a huge workload has been finished. I'm also quite chirpy today because I finally scored full marks in my weekly quiz, yaaaaaaay! (: A language is the perfect complement for the other stress-inducing, mind-boggling subject. I also have an interview on Saturday (yay?!!) but we'll see how that goes.

#413- A would be happy post
Title explains it all, I was first happy to begin with when I was thinking of writing this post up but then Cityfail ruined it all, so now I'm sad but I am going to add to my 10 000 word essay so I thoroughly encourage you all to share your Cityfail stories because I sure do.
Story is, there was trackwork today. I'm not all that surprised however it would nice if Cityfail had the decency to let me know of it during the week instead of when I boarded the train. Announcement: this is a Glenfield service, change at Parramatta for buses connecting to Strathfield (WTF?)
Fortunately I'm scarred and paranoid when it comes to public transport and my punctual mentality so I caught the train that gets me to work 30min early. I'm so glad that I did because otherwise I would've been late. So I caught the express bus from Parramatta to Strathfield and I had time to grab a green tea latte from My Sweet Memory and I swear the person ignored my request for only 1 sugar because she gave me diabetes. There was no troubles on the way to Burwood but the way back was a different story, I had to take a train to Strathfield to change for a connecting express bus back to Parramatta. Except, the bus driver was an Asian woman, I don't mean to stereotype here but she is precisely the stereotype that we all envisage (no joke). She literally did a circle around the suburban streets of Strathfield just to do a 'U turn', the only thing I got out of it was new intel on houses that are on the market. Basically, the word express implies that the driver will take the fastest and shortest route right, well this bitch was far from it and by that I mean taking 30minutes just to get from Straithfield to Homebush which are neighbouring suburbs before semi following the train line and randomly making a pitt stop at Lidcombe which completely defeats the purpose of an express bus. I seriously felt like integrating the bitch and asking her if she even knew the directions and that it we were supposed to head to P-A-R-R-A-M-A-T-TA and not C-A-B-RA-M-A-T-T-A. Okay I kinda being a little slack here but it was so frustrating I'm pretty sure you would have experienced something along those lines as well especially if the friggen woman takes away 1 hr extra of your time than was necessary. Oh Cityfail advises you to budget for an extra 30min yeah will try 1 hr, not cool! Yeah and to add insult to injury, she took al these congested suburban roads like those in Homebush, I mean hello did you not realise that it was lunchtime so everyone congregates in the town centre NOOB and I also had fish and prawns with me at the time, following up the request of my mother to buy some groceries so I wanted to get home ASAP. All in all, you know I hate Cityfail and I will gladly rant about them on any occasion that presents itself and today was no exception.
~ end of rant
Now moving on to why I was happy
First I went to UNSW and it was so good to see everyone. I should have captured that movie moment with Mv Rules when I surprised her from behind whilst subtly talking on the phone with her casually. Good catch up sesh with bro and Elisa especially with her advice on how to survive a mosh pit. I'm scared guys and you should be worried for my safety- who knows how crazy some hardcore k-pop fans can be. Should I bring my DSLR guys or should I leave that at home where it will definitely be safe from the dangers of a mosh pit.
Also shout out to my bro, Better, Batter, and everyone else doing Relay for Life tonight, I don't think you guys will be on blogger but you'll read this eventually right.
Guess what arrived in the mail today guys? The shipping was actually really fast....an expensive TT but that's DHL for you

An almost 2 hour phone catch up convo with Sweet and me taking a photo to flaunt my new shirt to Elisa. I got her a matching pair (: I think I might wear this shirt to Uni on Monday like a cool kid!
Nole scarf <3
And of course the best mug in the world

#412 - Sanguine disposition
03/05: The end of week 8, multiple tasks done, long phone call with Bitter (yay!), finally sat through the entire 3 hour lecture, somewhat unexpected good news. Since we got internet TV, I bemoan my lack of English shows (namely, SVU)...moreover, we always eat dinner at the perfect time for news *groan*
"Don't give up hope."
04/05: relatively lazy day (: Also discovered the weirdest M/V ever...I don't know whether to laugh or be shocked.Ah the Japanese...quirkiest people ever :)

#411- Arghhh Facepalm
OMG OMG OMG I feel so bad at the moment. Basically if you read Happy Apple's latest post you might have some questions.....So I shall explain the story behind it, story is, Average and I visited her yesterday whilst she was volunteering before our 9 am classes. Then they joined me briefly in Fisher during my 4 hour break which was when my battery died so I could only check my messages when I got home and I found this really nice text wishing my good luck for the test that I just sat. I thought it was Happy Apple but the number that I had saved under her name didn't match so I started to run a mental list of names of people who I met yesterday who may or may not have my number. I'm just slightly paranoid because once I had someone call me asking for help about accounting homework which I don't even do until next semester. Yeah I got pretty worked up about who called me, it's like V with unknown numbers but this time the number is known and I'm really scared to call them and ask "who is this?"
Moving onto part 2 of the tale, so today on the train I wanted to confirm if it was Happy Apple that texted me because it was so nice and I really wanted to put a name to the number and text so I tried to confirm my number with 365 friend and SB but that failed. So I turned to Arabi and she had the same number for Happy Apple as me so I assumed that it wasn't her because if both of us had the same number then it must be someone entirely different. That's when some friends in the secret group came to visit me in Sci-tech library before we went to Mannings Bar for lunch. SO being the weirdo that DL is, he decided to call the person who texted me because he could and he felt like it and might I say that he is a horrible person when it comes to finding out people's names on the phone.
So moral of the story is that I owe Happy Apple a huge apology for putting her in such an awkward situation and message to everyone; please to tell me when you change your number like my gay lover who sent an amusing text telling us all about the disease that her iPhone contracted and how it inevitably succumbed to it slow and eventual death

#410 - Honestly cryptic
My head is full of thoughts and they're not going away.
1. I've got two personalities. Though they both make up "me", I don't like the person I am when placed in difficult "more-than-one" situations. There's been too many of them recently and I don't know how to change for the better. Quiet, twiddling my thumbs, desperate but don't know the way out, there but not there.
2. I feel so much hope for the future in all aspects of life - M approved my 'secret' ambition (will get D to approve in a bit!) and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for something I've been wanting for a long time now.
3. I always feel happy whenever I walk home and drivers let me cross the road =) I've mouthed "Thank you" over 20 times this year already. It's a small gesture, but it always brightens up my day and reminds me that niceness is still alive;
4. There's so many things I don't appreciate enough and always take things for granted.
5. Almost became a victim of technological failure.. yes it does happen. Always back up important documents.
6. Campus is so beautiful,
