due to a storm last week i've been deprived of internet on my main computer due to a stupid short circuit so lately i've gotten to bond with my laptop again [not school one] , oh and im also capped ~fml this is gonna sound weird but i miss school i.e. seeing everyone and etc etc oh but i dont miss the work if i did that'd just make me completely and utterly mental -sigh
my take on tangled: at first i was reluctant to watch it as i've already watched little fockers and harry potter 7 but it was a pretty good movie as a whole except for the end of the movie which is a bit far-fetched unless you are the targeted audience i.e. young kiddies who dont know any better.so if you are feeling bored for the remainder of the holidays go and watch it and be sure to drag along lots of people so you dont feel out of place

#20 - tangled
I have nothing much to write about so I'm just going to write a film review. time to use my critic skills =p
Review:
Nice animation, especially the part where all the lanterns rose up the sky - all the lanterns looked like bokeh <3 to the max
Film music = very Hans Zimmer like at dramatic times and expected duets coming from Disney... plus some sort of corny songs, only downer for me >:( but majority of it was amazing, nevertheless. n2s- must dl ost
Plot: good modernised twist on an old fairytale, and it made sense, unlike the plot in the tourist <- way too much of a coincidence
what the film gives you: hope, feel good feelings, laughs, inspiration to never give up on your dreams and the consolation that evil will never defeat goodness :))
Fav cute worthy thing from the other people watching today: a little girl started crying and hugging her mum when Flynn got stabbed.. :D (yes don't think I'm weird)
Trailer: awesome. especially when the great escape played :D now that is one very decent song
Overall rating: 9/10
everyone who hasn't watched it yet, run to your nearest cinema asap to watch it! you won't regret it.

#19- A turn for the worst
just when i had committed myself to finally exercising this holiday the weather suddenly goes from scorching heat to torrential rain- sigh could this possibly be a sign from above telling me not to exercise o.O
oh and if you guys didnt know my dad recently acquired an abcircle pro so i shall be using that until the weather clears up again and if you dont know what this handy contraption is then google it (:

#18 - fear
Today I discovered that I have a new fear. A fear of dentists :(
I had to go to one today to fix my teeth and honestly, that was my worst experience ever, even worse than the time when one tooth had to be pulled out ages ago. So today the dentist went and used objects with a razor sharp thin blade and poked that into my poor suffering teeth, and then he used a horrible mechanical drill, and drilled it and it hurt soooo much :((( And the worst thing was that I could actually see the tools he was using. And all this lasted for a very pain filled hour... I'm never going to a dentist ever again.
@bitter: did you get one from there and it ended looking terrible? LOL poor you^^ btw is that the place opposite tree of life? and nope not yet... even though I'm absolutely dying to. haircuts are too expensive these days (30 last time and look how fast it's grown T.T) take me to your cheap cabra one sometime soon! we can have viet food as well :D

#17- Horrible Hairdresser
okay so most of us have been to a few dodgey hairdressers. so an advice to all DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES VISIT CORTEX HAIR IN PARRA WESTFIELD, this seemingly pleasant place is filled with unfriendly staff who offer little to no expertise and skill at hairdressing- why this is their profession is beyond disbelief. being a ex-commerce student now T^T we should all know how powerful word-of-mouth is so everyone please spread the word =D as i do not want any of you to suffer the cruel and horrible experience of having a ghastly haircut.encloses is a picture of that dreadful place - dont be fooled by its nice looks or else....
on a lighter note, sweet did you get another hair cut >>

#16 - 2011
Happy new year everyone!! :)
I watched the 9.00 fireworks at Darling Harbour and they were pretty awesome; they had gold ones that shimmered and floated in some sort of spiral? The 12 o'clock was really boring but maybe that's because I watched it on TV :P
I'm thinking of making new year resolutions but in the past I've never remembered to keep them so I don't think I'll make resolutions. I'll just stick to goals I'd like to achieve - ie. being happy, enjoying life more, not get into fights with parents too much, getting decent school reports and not procrastinate as much as I'd like to and the really important one- saving up more money! That's probably my worst issue right now, too much money goes out of my pocket and not a lot comes in. That means I have to make a budget now, so barely any indulgences for me and lots of sacrifices have to be made>:( I hate all you rich kids who don't have to worry about money grrrrr
Anyway that's my post for the day, hope you guys are all enjoying the new year (and decade)

#15- A year in review
I'm sure we can all look back onto 2010 with many fond memories; making new friends, new experiences and for me end of year term reviews <3333
2011 will be a year to start afresh with a list of new goals so my New Year resolutions are to:
- - Get fit
- - GO TO SHOW LO CONCERT with wendy ~ although im not quite sure if I’ll be able to achieve this so everyone has to help me with my master plan
- - 90% + in all exams!
- - Continue being the cool kid that I am and DON’T GET FACEBOOK
- - GROW TALLER ~ although I dunno if it’s possible anymore T^T
