#341- Guilty Pleasure

Well you probably know that I love online shopping and that I use to buy like almost anything and that includes C.N Blue merchandise

Look what arrived last week (:

Oh and did I mention that they're hand autographed <3

Yup I'm one proud Boice, oh and along with this I have a poster that I got while I was buying 2NE1 stuff for Mr Consistent
5 years of the Twilight Saga with my pal Elisa, and did she mention that there were only 8 people in our screening including the two of us

#340 - City in bubbles

Just realised the last time I went out was ... last Sunday, and I have now amassed around 20 EDT and EDP samples, which have fused to create an awfully nice aromatic scent (: Oh and that reminds me, W & I are SO fail at pronouncing foreign brand names:
Me: *sees Hermes* ooh, that's Hermes! (I was pronouncing it the way it looks like it's pronounced - Her-mees)
W: Herpes?
Me & W: *descends into fit of giggles*
Bitter: *mental facepalm* No, it's actually pronounced _____ (can't remember how she pronounced it, except it was very fancy and very different from my pronounciation :P). Now repeat after me
W: *gets the pronunciation right after a few tries*
Me: *still fails to get it right*

And the one thing that I really like about the iPhone is that it lets you merge calls <- ie. have 3 way conversation which are F.U.N. But Argo was a great and suspenseful movie - I believe it lived up to the rave reviews on imdb, haha. "Argo fuck yourself" :D Oh and I swear George St is by far my fave cinema - always end up having great dnm's and good memories there!

Oh and I have retrieved formal pics from my camera! Like only 2 good ones.... haha because everything else is blurry or just bad quality >>

yay for $20 dress! haha.

SO SWEET!

 - Played piano for the first time in a very long time. I think I was cringing in embarrassment when I was playing today, pretty sure my neighbours heard every wrong note, and off beat timing
- Green tea mochi....is divine
- I love this time of the year. Not sure if it's thanksgiving, Black Friday or whatever, but there are / have been a plethora of awesome online sales this week (click frenzy, and some US one right now). Online shopping: don't have to pay the ridiculous price hikes in Aust, free shipping, heaps of variety - what's not to like?
- Grimm. Felt like Once Upon a Time <- which I gave up on.

#339- Update

Gosh it's been so long since I've blogged. I kind of had cold feet (yeah I know).

Well what has happened since I last blogged... a lot (I guess), so let's start in chronological order.

Got back from Schoolies, I was exhausted but nonetheless I catched up on Revenge. Next day was sign out day and I managed to sell all of my stuff (well I kinda dumped my last book on JM but he agreed). I went back to the shop that I bought skin care products and then DJ's for some Wedgewood tea because they were on special.

Friday- Formal
In true Baulko tradition, it rained. I guess it was inevitable and well it seemed to dampen the mood of most of us so yeah not really in the partying mood. I got to scheduled Parra place for hair and makeup early except unfortunately for me, no one else was there. Yeah Elisa and 365 day friend got lost (sorry guys but hopefully this will inspire the two of you to learn how to read a map better) and whilst I'm using the word Better, you should immerse yourself in technology more often because even my mother can use my DSLR.

Formal dramas started to occur (loosely), we had taxi dramas. Story is, I booked a taxi 1.5 hrs earlier than our pick up time (because I'm paranoid), come 5:20, no taxi so I get worried and with good reason. I called the company back up to check my booking and turns out that never sent a taxi because for some reason or another it was 'unavailable'. Now I'm not one to leave insulting and threatening messages at call operators when things don't go my way but because I pride myself on being punctual and because we had a strict schedule to attend to, I did make my frustration quite apparent. Fortunately the operator got my message and our taxi finally arrive, say 15min later, the driver was very helpful and friendly though. LIMO which was a slight disappoint, know why? Weather! Baulko pick a day and then schedule the event the day before or after that date, please and I'll leave formal matters at that.

Sunday- Night before Sweet and Reflectica asked me to go city with them. Last minute much guys but anyways we watched Argo which is quite a good movie. I won't say anything more because I hate to mislead people by over-hyping a movie so if you're stuck on deciding a movie then give Argo a shot and Sweet remember that moment in the movie when the three of us were huddled together. Also nts when you go out with these people again esp Reflectica make sure that you set the meet up time an hour earlier. We were supposed to meet at 10:30 ish, Reflectica came at 11:09 and just so you know the 'movie' started at 11:00 and I bought the tickets once I arrived. Oh and because it's me I was going to charge her $1 for every minute that she was late. Btw Sweet how did you like your mysterious concoction of parfums and Toilette

Well that's all from me, and a lot of you will probably be oversees so enjoy your time there. Bye V!

Photo time
 Selca!
 No flash Sweet (:
Yeah they were tourists for the day and I was their guide >>
Got this at an antique shop in Avoca, I think you can see why I bought it

#338 - Over

Formal........ what can I say about it? It was alright - gorgeous venue that was far away, picturesque views all around, food was alright, everyone looked great and the music was okay but a bit loud? Best thing - socialising, even though it wasn't with everyone :) And that's the last time I'll probably ever see the grade again.
I would upload photos, but the majority of my photos are terrible (yep, blaming the crappy compact camera) and I have no clue where the SD card reader is.
I also recently finished reading 1Q84 - the ultra hyped book last year - and I was hooked on it. Yet the ending left me quite disappointed, because there was insufficient information about what happened to the secondary characters and the Little People. Recommended, but by no means, is it "a dystopia to rival George Orwell's" - 1984 was definitely far better. Loved the two moons, hated all the unnecessary sex scenes (a bit OTT)
Oh and I am so disappointed, going overseas at such a bad time. So there's going to be a giant rubber duck exhibition from January 5 - January 23 (or 27?) in Darling Harbour, and it's so damn cute. And I'll be missing it :(

OMG. And I can't see this fat, brimming-with-cuteness-overload- rubber duck in real life!!! :( And the exhibition is FREE.
Oh and I just realised that this is such a jumbled post (which is full of random stuff). Ooops. This is what happens when you get lazy with blogging.
Instagram - people need to learn to stop taking photos of their food every time before they eat their meal.
MAC - good investment. Though damn Australia for having ridiculously hiked up prices. Seriously, the same product for $14 USD, and in Australia, $36?!!!!
Fashion - was talking with Bitter about the dumbest trends that people follow. Neon - urgh, seriously? The stores are crazy, and infested with it. Peplum - at times it's nice, but it does not work well with all body types. Tropical prints - please do not wear matching prints as a whole outfit. Studs - overdone, and extremely tacky. Studded shoes are the worst. And I swear, it is near impossible to find a simple white blouse that isn't sheer, and is free of decoration (ie studded collar, sparkly collar, tacky pockets). Also went to Topshop for the first time, and it is over-hyped, overpriced - I'd liken it to being the expensive equivalent of Cotton On. And also wtf to those blouses that have no sleeves at the top, exposing the top of your shoulder, but sleeves at the bottom....
Formal dresses - I am quite curious as to how people can easily spend an exorbitant amount of money for a dress? Unless you'll wear that dress many more times - then the expensive cost of the dress is okay.....but if you only wear it once, it's a waste of money.
Love - when people still tease me about the people I used to like, my mind goes ...     It's like: do I need to like someone / be with someone to feel happy and good about myself? Hell no. Over that. I love myself, I'm happy, end of story - now people should stop it mentioning it.

#337- Benefit Brow

Yeah the only person who really understands my love for Benefit Brow is Sweet seeing as we had a 2 hr phone convo yesterday- a really good and long awaited catch up and d'n'm where we pretty much discussed like everything!

Basically I went to Benefit Brow to get my eyebrows done and well yeah I'm very happy with their job so yeah I'm just spreading the word.

BTW watch this space because I will spam you guys with photos soon. Today 365 friend plus Rose and I went to the beach. We decided for the lols to dig a giant hole before we ended up turning it into a flower. It was quite cool - just saying (coming from me^^)

#336 - Obligatory

AHHH I feel so lazy blogging nowadays, and lazy in general - I have spent countless hours just lounging around the house or lying in my bed all day long :)
And formal <- pisses me off for various reasons:
> all the dresses have exorbitant prices, and they're not even nice!
> the inability to find a decent dress gets you ridiculously frustrated
> the venue - despite the scenic and picturesque views, what an inconvenient location

despite this, life is awesome.
