2011 is about to end so i decided to look back at my new years resolution for 2011. one word FAIL (click to see how naive i was)
so basically new year resolutions never work but i suppose it's always good to aim high that way if you end up failing then you'll still something that is better than having low standards (if you understood that then good job)
i'm basically going to spend the rest of the post ranting at my fail attempt to complete my nyr list
so getting fit.... well you see when exam time looms i kinda become socially awkward and barricade myself in my room where my textbooks are so in order for us to become well acquainted i invested the help of a mediator otherwise namely known as food. yup that is how it is (:
show lo concert: i wish i went it looked amazing, on youtube it looked amazing basically it was the biggest regret of my life so far...T^T im still wallowing in pain ~sigh
90%+ : i blame english and physics, enough said!
facebook: WHY? well that is basically because of one individual and i won't go there
my height: i think i reached another milestone, yup i'm definitely still growing...i hope (looks optimistic)
basically the message behind this post is not to let any fail attempts deter you, we all should make goals and as for me i need to come up with a study plan and i need to find my dream course. til next time~

#213- Boxing Day
Finally decided to go actual boxing day sales I.e. On boxing day itself and at Sydney cbd. First some people have no shame taking photos of mass crowds especially just outside Westfield. Note: font may be weird because I'm posting from godparent's iPad.
Shopping itself wasn't bad....waiting in line was annoying but 50% off jewelry :) yup I made the most out of this sale. My only regret is that I wasn't one of those that enter myer at 5am according to godparents if you're one of the first few then you get $100 voucher T.T
Another regret not entering stores like gucci, ferragamo etc because the line was too long, everyone seemed to walk out carrying a massive bag....makes me wonder how much they spent.
One day after pleading with dad I shall get him to buy this $1000 Bally handbag. It's so nice even mum agreed (and her standards are high but maybe she has a soft spot for Bally). Yup that shall be my mission for the new year, I wish to attain a formal dress (preferably a long dress that actually fits because I cbb to tailor it), a high atar score, my dream Bally handbag ( because I want to give it to mum...a present that I will use on occasions as well) and hopefully a pair of ferragamo cage heels so I can wear them to formal =D
I think I'll add a photo to this post but that will have to wait until I connect my camera.

happy one year anniversary blog and fellow blogger! :) <3
okay so what have i done since hols have started: close to nuffin. except watching anime and movies and reading manga all day, getting up in the afternoon (ie. getting a stuffed up body clock) and excessively pigging out on junk food *sob*what a dreary life i lead.
today was the first day since hols started that i got up before 9 am. setting four alarms in the space of five minutes works really well - so yayyyy. anyway i had a great day of shopping with robby and sal!! :) i now understand the whole "shop till you drop" phrase. sorry to sal, who i dragged from top to bottom in westfields multiple times, i think we walked around five km in five hours- good exercise? :O haha
noob me took my necklace off, and left it in the change room...totally forgot until a few hours later T___T sigh. oh and justice crew were at westfields too...such an annoyance. urgh. the amount of screaming and noise pollution we endured from hysterical fangirls >_____>

#211- Happy Birthday
a bit late but this blog has turned 1 (yay!) thank you sweet for this joint venture =D

anyhow let me start ranting and most of you wont be able to decipher this so dont bother:
why is it that we keep clashing? values? outlook, perspective? i really dont know anymore, maybe it's time for a change... who knows but one thing that i'm sure of is that i dont want to force myself anymore. i think i've resigned myself to walking away so don't judge, i dont belong sorry!

#210 - end
wednesday: pizza party was great - all that delicious and fattening junk food meant that i just had to pig out. which i did :D yummmm. oh and ext project ideas seemed good, so that was a good day
thursday: strike day. just stayed at home and did....nothing except eating and watching ...stuff. CONGRATS TO MY AWESOME SAUCE ALLIE for 99.10!! and she did all the humanities ^^ a bit disappointed we dropped down, almost 30 now - what is this D:
friday: okay this was the best day. i now know that mc stands for master of ceremonies =D and that i would love to be one again. even though we stuffed up - announcing two performances, then going back to speak after only one and not realising for like thirty seconds = so embarrassing >__> it was SO fun though. part of the official party ftw (Y). oh and certificate for 100% attendance: totes. just casually cheating the system :) and free bbq lunch and quiz after - which mckay won, YAY finally! had a fun time during lunch casually following the baby faced tso through the school like the crazy fangirls we are hahah :) good times!! and why is my sleeping cycle so erratic and bad. i got home, slept from 5-11pm, then from 3am-11 ~.~ oh my.
saturday: activated iphone =] also just saw my fav canadian singer on channel 7?! :D
-i have no idea why i'm using so many emotes, but oh well. :D-

first of all, mr consistent thank you so much for your card. it took a while to read but i managed to decipher it and dont think too much about it (i think you know what i'm referrring to) but anyhows i miss getting xmas cards. i shouldn't complain because i'm the lazy bum who couldn't be bothered to write them out- sorry guys i love you but i just cbb.
exam talk: nahh not really, i'm kinda disappointed but it was expected so yeah
would it be weird if i said that i'm looking forward to watching breaking dawn with elisa, or maybe it's just because i've been avoiding the cinemas for the majority of the year

FRIDAY:
- i evidently do not possess any skills in hitting on people. neither am i a successful wing woman. but what a funnn experience :)
SATURDAY:
- the cousin's house. 6 year old kids are ridiculously adorable :')
MONDAY:
- what a two faced b___ our dep. is. so sweet to the rents and then to us: "full school uniform. do you understand? yes mr _____". i could not tell if he was being self centered or being serious when he said that last sentence. apparently he was being the latter. =.= urgh.
- in time: so many people told me it was bad, but i actually thought it was decent; it's by the same dude who directed gattaca (which was good). loved the concept and amanda seyfried (her hair was so cute), but yes i agree that jt can't cry.
TUESDAY:
- happy seventeenth, h! (if you ever read this)
- so i got chem back and i am pleasantly ...pleased. =]
-ohhhh and today i met a friend of a friend in year 8/year 9 who looks like a fourteen year old michael buble! soooo cute! his name is michael, he has similar physical features and he's in band - ie. musical! =D ahh that kid is cool.
anyway, some people really are like brick walls. they don't talk and no one (well, close to no one) can get to them. try to make convo, and all they do is shrug. "stoned" ):

anyhow i seem to have rekindled my love with yonghwa aka this guy from you're beautiful. i have approx halfway through we got married for the yongseo couple and i kinda cheated by youtubing fanvids ><
but omg they're so cute and well yes it would be nice if they remain friends at the very least

#206 - brain fart
:( :( :(
^ this sums up how i feel right now. what a horrible ending to assessment week. thank you brain fart that made me go overtime by exactly a minute. it was on the easiest environmental issue!! bahhh. how dumb i must have looked; i "umm"-ed and "er"ed for goodness knows how long. damn video camera - i could feel its electronic eye stare me down and the teachers both looked at me intensely. bam - train of thought/speech gone. ahhhhhhh ahjsdkuryugfkh
. okay. must not be too down. at least there's tomorrow, friday and hols to look forward to! and come sunday, and freedom! on the other hand, civic park is so dodgy. two people got mugged on monday, so that makes it the third mugging. we shouldn't walk through there anymore.
so after watching episode after episode of the spiffingly brilliant doctor who, i reallyyyyy wish for a tardis! the idea of parallel universes is pretty cool, who knows if that was real? that would be sooo epic :D

#205- On the eve of ...
sigh exams are tomorrow. chemistry, economics please be nice to me
so how did i spend my weekend so far:
- on saturday i watched home alone 3 ><
and i am currently looking at ferragamo shoes dont ask why
shoe discussion here (if you're not an avid fan of shoes then ignore):
okay so below is this one of a kind 18ct gold ferragamo 'sandals'. quite frankly, considering it is gold and nothing but gold then the classification of 'sandal' is a definite understatement. and funfact it was made for an australian client in 1956 and once you start factoring in inflation then the owner is one definitely crazy and ridiculously loaded. (why crazy? good question! i'm glad you asked) so think practically guys, 18 ct gold is soft not as soft as 20+ ct but it is still soft and well can you imagine someone wearing this, chances are its probably framed in some glass cabinet surrounded by suited men in thick rimmed glasses.
anyhow that was actually mean to be an aside because what i really wanted to talk about was the next picture but i cant be bothered so i'll just show you guys. it's salvatore ferragamo's signature cage heel- so pretty! this is the modern version but still the rhimestones <33333

#204 - imaginaerum
^ new album = epicness.
second day of summer.
today, like viv, i had a "wtf" moment when people started going on about how there were papers from 2005..that were uploaded extremely late and .... i didn't check! T_T today's exam actually wasn't that bad, i was aiming for 90+ since i thought i knew my stuff and studied so much harder than before .(my dream is to one day get 90+ in a girra maths test! never ever got that before...in all my years *sob* how sad) but for this test, it's out of the question, so i'm hoping for ~85 now, sigh. i hope everyone in my class did okay as well, i want that pizza party and i want to get rid of the idea that the 2u kids are really dumb - only because we didn't care last term. FOOD motivates us :3
then english, which was a narrowly avoided disaster, i just made it over 4.30 by 1 or 2 seconds. eep >< 2 down, only 1 exam left!
i also went to my local pharmacy to get medicine and there was a middle eastern pharmacist and he was speaking mando to some old granny. i was like: wtf?! and laughing. but that made me realise i really need to learn. even a middle eastern person knows (a little) mando, whereas i, know close to nothing - how sad is that. no fear, i shall learn after next year!
i'm thankful that the cold, weird red bites and my voice have been getting better. and regarding my old man complex: he's not avoiding me and he doesn't hate me (i think). everything's all back to normal, so i won't be down anymore about this, hehehe :) nyan cat has also been sucessfully mastered as well, soo much fun :)
time for a productive weekend!

#202 - summer wind
cold. such an awful time to have it, my voice is getting deeper and lower :( nose is also extremely runny, i've literally sniffled all day and contributed to killing many trees. =( suffered from hug deprivation, too.
today on the bus we were talking about embarrassing train memories and people asked me for some of mine. i remember i was running late as usual; i made the train but my bag got stuck in the door and i was mortified. it was peak hour and i was awkwardly trying to wriggle myself out with many onlookers. ah the shame. and today! in the arvo, three kids were running in front of me by 5m, the train doors opened for them, i finally ran down the stairs and the train doors just closed. then i saw two hills sports girls laughing at me, grrrr.
harry potter pick up lines, hehehehh. never gets old and such a great mood lifter.
i have tomorrow, thursday, next monday and tuesday off. red bites are much hotter (temperature wise) and still that same ugly colour, damn. something cheerful: MCKAY won bball comp! finally we're first in a sport :D and another awesome thing - i've started to learn nyan cat! it's actually quite nice and pretty when it's played slow, it sounds really jazzy/michael buble-y :D songs in Db /C# major are awesome.

getting a medical certificate for the first time was weird, mainly because mum asked family doctor about potential careers. i hope deputy doesnt give me the look when i hand in my note saying i was sick with the flu. it just seems so dodgey that's all ><

#200- conflicting perspectives/bug encounters & hate
200th post! i have finally finished the excruciatingly-difficult-to-write speech. YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! but...it's 890 words - i dunno if i can talk that fast and still be coherent. anyway, i praise the godly internet for its wealth of information :D i hardcore it out so much on the weekends before stuff is due - but the thing is done
i am truly a walking wreck of conflicting perspectives (yes i just had to bring this up and remind people). so i was full of rage against the varsity...but then it looked so nice! D: i retract my prior statement and blog post rage about it, since i have decided....to get one. argh. damn my fast changing hypocritical mind.
28/11: I UTTERLY AND WHOLE HEARTEDLY LOATHE ALL BUGS/INSECTS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. i was scratching intensely at 5 highly itchy spots on both arms yesterday which i attributed to mosquitoes, that then today turned out to be a very ugly shade of red. and today i was itching and scratching like crazily all day. i just self diagnosed myself on google, and i'm convinced i have bed bugs in my bed. i have a new bite on my shoulder, and there's a semi shaped line of blood on it. fml. i think it's bed bugs because apparently they like to leave a pattern of 3 sites of biting respectively known as: breakfast, lunch and dinner - and well, guess what - i have them all on my left arm. FUUU. further reason to hate bed bugs: i have a bed bug bite from 8 years ago, and the redness still has not faded. just bloody brilliant (ha, the irony). i put on soothing chinese ointment and STILL i get bitten and feel so itchy =="
another buggy encounter: yesterday i was eating shrimp, and somehow - some big reddish orange thing fell from the ceiling, literally. it looked like a bug and i just ran away screaming (i hateeeeeeee bugs and i'm wimpy). then i thought i was a little paranoid, my mum was eating shrimp heads, so perhaps i had mistaken a flying shrimp head for some sort of reddish-orange bug? oh silly me. then my mum told me off and then she realised it actually was some sort of ugly bug - she said it was a golden beetle or something like that in chinese, and dumped it down the loo.
i reiterate: i hate bugs. especially blood sucking parasites

28/11: I UTTERLY AND WHOLE HEARTEDLY LOATHE ALL BUGS/INSECTS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. i was scratching intensely at 5 highly itchy spots on both arms yesterday which i attributed to mosquitoes, that then today turned out to be a very ugly shade of red. and today i was itching and scratching like crazily all day. i just self diagnosed myself on google, and i'm convinced i have bed bugs in my bed. i have a new bite on my shoulder, and there's a semi shaped line of blood on it. fml. i think it's bed bugs because apparently they like to leave a pattern of 3 sites of biting respectively known as: breakfast, lunch and dinner - and well, guess what - i have them all on my left arm. FUUU. further reason to hate bed bugs: i have a bed bug bite from 8 years ago, and the redness still has not faded. just bloody brilliant (ha, the irony). i put on soothing chinese ointment and STILL i get bitten and feel so itchy =="
another buggy encounter: yesterday i was eating shrimp, and somehow - some big reddish orange thing fell from the ceiling, literally. it looked like a bug and i just ran away screaming (i hateeeeeeee bugs and i'm wimpy). then i thought i was a little paranoid, my mum was eating shrimp heads, so perhaps i had mistaken a flying shrimp head for some sort of reddish-orange bug? oh silly me. then my mum told me off and then she realised it actually was some sort of ugly bug - she said it was a golden beetle or something like that in chinese, and dumped it down the loo.
i reiterate: i hate bugs. especially blood sucking parasites

#199- Well this is awkward.....
Recount of today:
-woke up late
- caught train, bus and got to school whilst interrogating bro along the way
- got to school
-mad rush of people trying to pay today
-almost fell asleep in maths again (i should bring gum)
-got home to stock my tiny tower but before that i went to check the mail (the literal mail) and well here's where it gets awkward.
so somehow or another a dead bird has found its way to one of my plants in the front yard and because it's dead it radiates a foul odour. hopefully any passerbys wont notice it and mistake me for an animal abuser (that's bf, poor dog ...). all in all, im too chicken to approach it so how should i get rid of it before it gets too awkward. Also the bird is near the front gate so its kind of unavoidable ><

#197-Buffer Week
9 more days til buffer week but hey whose counting.... speaking about counting 9 has something to deal with tomorrow but i'll let you ponder about its significance (not that i feel it being necessary to celebrate it).
anyhow a lot of the stuff i wanted to say has been said already by yours truly so just click here.
and because the teachers love bombading us students with knowledge, for the past week i've clocked up a carry weight max of 7kg a day (sigh- school is bulking up my muscles which is not a good thing)

#196 - 11/11/11
lest we forget.
first task was horrendous, drastic, nasty, awful, difficult, everything horrible. i spent 5 precious minutes trying to figure out what the stimulus meant and how to answer it and finished just in the nick of time. okay, all the other times i was sad after, i was just being a worry wart. but seriously this time, i know i definitely stuffed up ): i don't think i really answered it right. i'm sort of over it now anyway, since it's done already. >>
varsity company - i'm sorry but i do not want to be associated with your product.

me: i don't want one.
ms k: is it because of the price or the design?
me: both.
ms k: but it's year 12! the rest of the grade will be getting it. we do get a few free ones along with it as well. would you be interested? (i have no idea why you're assisting the company??!!!)
me: yeah but... i never really wanted a varsity.
ms k: so you don't want one even if it's free?
me: yup (well, duh, it's hideous and i can finally put my blazer to good use)
i simply don't want one. i don't feel the need to "belong" with the others to be recognised as seniors at all and neither do i really care if everyone else has one and i don't. no one force me/nag/annoy the shit out of me to get one or be associated with it. yeah i can be unreasonable and obstinate, that's the way i am - but anyway don't piss me off by telling me repeatedly when i've said no.
on the other hand, cozy meet up at gloria jeans today!! i miss those friday hang outs, just chilling for a few hours before we all have to go back home. love you guys - s, r, w, v :')
ugh. must force my lazy self to travel to redfern tomorrow. cannot wait until next friday is over, 7 days.

ancient research coming along nicely. it was quite the coincidental moment when i "noticed" rob at haymarket library ^^ and fail us at caps - the editing was all in japanese, and we wanted to reverse an action... but it ended up printing instead. barely any decorations, but oh well.
i adore you, indoctrinating sparta, but seriously, your art is so incredibly boring to such a large extent i actually just go to sleep instead of looking at you. really >:(

#195- Disturbia
okay so my maths class is notorious for being incredibly loud. we dont notice it though,....now what?
i think i shall just apologise on behalf of my class for restricting the learning experience of my fellow peers and for that i am sorry!
also i think i need to rant again about how the junior years are failing in mannerisms.
OMG the early parra bus was so packed and noisy, whenever a public passenger got on the bus i didnt even see one person offer their seat and this extends to the elderly ( to those people that this is directed to: stop being caught up in your own bubble and pay attention to your surroundings. hate to break it to you but the world does not revolve around you) so yeah whenever you see a junior being a stubborn fool on public transport do the right thing and tell them off! as for me: on this experience i was at the back so my voice was inaudible- if only i have better's volume and distinct voice

#194 - occupy syd. photojournalism & other stuff.
super quick post.
omgggg... i think i'm getting into jazz/soft pop/whatever now, michael bublé's voice...why is it so fine?! *swoons* and zomg. ORISINAL MUSIC... so lovelyyyy :')
i need more time and sleep. i've been getting up at 6.40-8.30 for the past 2 weeks, and sleeping at like 12.30-4....so drained. end result: FINALLY 850 words after 5 days of proper work, and waste of 2 weeks. 1000 if i'm bothered to elaborate. i dislike how i sleep so easily on public transport (trains ftw.) and after school for a few good hours, but then i wake up totally groggy and pissed i've done nothing. and then at night, when i want to fall asleep, i need to wait for at least 20 minutes before i fall asleep. aaarghhhh.
why is there absolutely nothing on sparta, (even in the state library! such bs!) but so much information on greece. don't tell me i actually have to buy the books online. >_>
martin place is so retro/funky/individualistic/cool. there's skateboarders, promotions, weird shows you see in mX, yesterday there was "occupy sydney" and like 10 police + riot cars and like 50 police on the scene...
i actually don't really understand the whole OCCUPY thing around the world, except it's related to anti-capitalism, something like they're not the 1% who own 40% of the world's wealth... yeah i don't get it. i was listening to the organisers talk and my reaction was: "wtfffff"

got reports yesterday. it was expected.... that's about it. Mrs Awkward wouldnt tell us our overall rank and her atar approx was (extremely) vague. Curious me resorted to online atar calculators = bad result.

additional notes 4/11:
- humanities teachers are my favourites! they each have their own unique traits, tell funny stories (sometimes tmi), are sincere and just awesome. even when they don't even know me, and are unaware of stuff, they still help out so much. best teachers in the world! :') :')
- i feel so guilty for not being pink but wow, prefects did an amazing job :D
- what sort of justice is this (rubbish): interesting fact, the criminal justice system is a failure in achieving justice for individuals & society - just shortcomings after another. all the government does is continually ask for recommendations, review, release fancy schmanzy media statements that only make them look goodt, draft bills ... but then guess what? NOTHING HAPPENS, the draft bill just disappears into who knows where. ie. bail. why has nothing changed since 2009? it's 2 years on, ffs and i have only 1 legal measure *weeps* seriously how long does it take to amend stuff!
